Nathaniel Crompton, CPI ®

Nathaniel Crompton is an Oregon Certified Home Inspector (OCHI # 2660), a Washington Licensed Home Inspector (WAHI # 22010245), an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector ® (NACHI21122737), and a graduate of Nonprofit Home Inspections’ home inspector training school.

Nathaniel is a New England native that relocated to Oregon to fight wildland fire for the US Forest Service. Nathaniel spent multiple seasons fighting fire for the Detroit Ranger District Initial Attack crew, being deployed throughout the country as well as locally on the Willamette National Forest. During the off seasons, he stayed busy volunteering as a firefighter and EMT for the city of Forest Grove Fire & Rescue.

Nathaniel began his construction career working as a Project Engineer for a general contractor in Portland. He worked on-site and managed residential remodel projects, before transitioning into estimating interior finishes for large scale commercial projects.

Nathaniel was drawn to home inspections as an avenue to apply his construction experience while reconnecting with his passion for public safety and community service. He appreciates the opportunity to help families feel safe and secure in their homes while providing actionable information on home upkeep and maintenance. The integrity, quality, and sliding scale availability of Nonprofit Home Inspections aligned perfectly with Nathaniel’s goals as a home inspector and he’s thrilled to help NHI fulfill our mission.
