Home Inspector Reviews

Home inspector reviews can be critical in your search for an outstanding home inspector for your home purchase in Oregon or Washington.  Nonprofit Home Inspections is unique in the home inspection industry for a number of reasons, but most notably because we have never paid for an advertisement nor have we ever marketed our services to real estate agents.  All of our business comes from positive experiences and referrals from clients like you.

While many home inspectors understand their tremendous responsibility to their clients, some view the minimum requirements set by the state as their standard inspection.  As a mission driven nonprofit organization, we are not profit driven and always strive to go above and beyond what’s required by the state in order to give our clients outstanding, very detailed home inspections.  This attention to detail is reflected in the reviews left by our clients on Google, Yelp, Facebook, Angie’s List, Openbook, and more.  Home inspector reviews like these are critical in helping you make an informed decision about who will inspect your next home.  Please check out our home inspector reviews and let us know how we can be of service to you.

Charles was great. As first time home buyers he definitely made us feel welcome to ask any and all questions we had and gave very helpful advice and tips. Charles was very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and informative. He made sure we understood all aspects of the inspection, and answered all of our questions.

I was blown away by his thoroughness. He is immensely knowledgeable and gave code documentation for his notes which helped us hugely to get things done from the builder. He was willing to answer my questions and explain the code so that I understood. If I were to buy another house, I would request him to do the inspection.

Charles was very prompt, very thorough and extremely professional. He brought up things I would never have thought of and really made the experience very pleasant.

Highly recommend using Nonprofit Home Inspections to get your inspection done and we would use again. Thank you for helping us inspect our first home! You will not be disappointed with his work ethic and professionalism

Charles L. was our inspector. He is hands down the most thorough, knowledgeable, and communicative inspector that we've ever met. His inspection included clear photos, explanations, recommendations and even thermal imaging. We also added a sewer scope inspection. As someone who has bought and sold many homes, please take my advice and hire Nonprofit Home Inspections because complete knowledge equals peace of mind.

My husband and I were about to purchase our first house. The house was remodeled and looked good and our realtor was encouraging us to purchase it before the prices go up. For inspection, I talked to some companies and the one that our realtor suggested, but I decided to do a little bit of research. I found this inspection company online with good reviews and I scheduled the inspection with them with half price for more tests than the other companies. I paid $380 instead of $670 for complete home inspection, sewer and radon test.
Reggie was the inspector. He started the inspection in very cold and windy morning. He was super professional, nice, gentleman and patient. He checked carefully everything inside, outside, underneath and top of the house. Then, by the end of the day, he provided us an extremely helpful 106 pages report. He brought up to our attention the risk of mold, asbestos and rodents in the attic and crawl space of the house with evidences (lots and lots of pictures). We could never find out those problems by looking at the house. He prevented us from making a huge mistake in our biggest investment decision in our life. He did a perfect job. We really appreciate it.

Very detailed inspection reports. We had two inspectors review the renovated 1907 home and Tom Walther's reports was 10X better that the other inspector. Tom fund at least 20 critical items that should be fixed before we purchased the home. I would certainly recommend Nonprofit Home Inspectors to anyone who want a thorough report of all critical elements in their new home.
