Home Inspector Reviews

Home inspector reviews can be critical in your search for an outstanding home inspector for your home purchase in Oregon or Washington.  Nonprofit Home Inspections is unique in the home inspection industry for a number of reasons, but most notably because we have never paid for an advertisement nor have we ever marketed our services to real estate agents.  All of our business comes from positive experiences and referrals from clients like you.

While many home inspectors understand their tremendous responsibility to their clients, some view the minimum requirements set by the state as their standard inspection.  As a mission driven nonprofit organization, we are not profit driven and always strive to go above and beyond what’s required by the state in order to give our clients outstanding, very detailed home inspections.  This attention to detail is reflected in the reviews left by our clients on Google, Yelp, Facebook, Angie’s List, Openbook, and more.  Home inspector reviews like these are critical in helping you make an informed decision about who will inspect your next home.  Please check out our home inspector reviews and let us know how we can be of service to you.

I've been working with Nonprofit Home Inspections for years, and have loved working with them. Charles, Thomas, Reggie, Adam, and I'm sure other inspectors I'm spacing on at the moment are all amazing, thorough, and customer focused.

As a Realtor, I started out using an inspector that was referred to me by an acquaintance, and I liked how quick and easy he was to work with. But after realizing that his inspections were quick because they weren't thorough, I went on the hunt for a better solution.

I loved the nature of Charles' business, and after my first inspection with him I was hooked. He has taken great care to train and build a staff of quality inspectors who have done amazing work, steering clients well when an inspection reveals more than they bargained for, and making sure that my clients understand the types of things they'll see on a report that could otherwise be overwhelming.

Love love love this company and will continue to use them whenever I'm able.

Justin Christ of Nonprofit Home Inspections did a fabulous job! He recently conducted a regular home inspection that included a pest and and dry rot inspection. He was quite thorough and took the time to identify and explain the more pressing issues that he found. He quickly (same day!) provided a series of detailed inspection reports, complete with photos and thermal images. Initially I was a little overwhelmed by the number of issues cited in the report; but in reviewing it more closely, I soon realized that I already knew about and could take care of many of the issues myself.

I am so glad I had my home inspected and that Justin did the inspection! It has provided me a great sense of relief and I recommend every homeowner with a limited knowledge of their home's structure and systems have this done.

I have worked with this company for several years and Russ Motyko has always been my #1 inspector for my clients and my own homes. I have relied on his inspection reports to get a best comprehensive report on homes. In addition, the flexibility of him and his team to work with our clients have made him my top recommendation for my clients. Thank you and Kudos to Nonprofit Home Inspections, to Russ, and the team!

We love using Non-Profit Home Inspections! Tom Walther & other inspectors are very detail oriented with lots of pictures, videos, thermal imaging & written text. The reports are completed on the same day as the inspection & they are happy to answer follow up questions in the days following. Also, their website is very user friendly for clients & realtors....Looking forward to the next inspection with them! 5/5 Stars!!!

Cody was super informative and helpful throughout the process. I honestly couldn't have asked for better communication, in addition to the unbiased information shared (with me being a first-timer).
During these unforeseen times, Cody made me feel comfortable both with him, and the entire process. I am thankful for how flexible he was especially with having to make more than one trip out. I received more information than I expected and I would (and already have) recommend Cody and Nonprofit Home Inspections for any of your inspection needs.

I couldn’t be happier with choosing Cody Farr-Baenziger from non profit home inspections. He was extremely detailed and very polite.

He made every effort to accommodate our new construction home that ended up not being completed on the day he arrived. So he inspected what he could and then came in on his day off and finished the inspection once the house was 95% done. He was very thorough, communicative, and answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I have total peace of mind after reviewing the inspection with Cody and getting his opinion on areas that needed repair.

He also provided same day reports which were very easily accessible online, fully documented and explained. I found the interface easy to use and I liked the feature that allows you to compile a list of repairs you can send to your realtor and builder.

All in all, highly recommend. The 5 star reviews are the real deal for these guys!

We were really pleased with our inspection from Reggie at Nonprofit Home Inspections, on a 1911 fixer upper. The inspection and report were very thorough, and Reggie was really helpful in summarizing the results and putting them in context given the home's age. I was impressed with the amount and quality of photos, and it was cool to have the thermal imaging photos. Scheduling online was easy, and it was nice to be able to see the time slots available without having to call. I also thought that Nonprofit Home Inspections took COVID precautions seriously, which matters to me. I felt that the service was well worth what we paid, and I would definitely recommend Nonprofit Home Inspections.

We had a private home inspection, provided by Nonprofit Home Inspections, on the home we are purchasing. Our inspection was performed on 8/5/20 by Russ Motyko.

The entire process, from scheduling to the final report, was a pleasant and professional experience. Russ was extremely thorough and helpful during/after. His final report and summary of the inspection itself is very informative, simple to understand, and allowed us to easily identify the areas/issues that we may need to address in the future.

I would definitely recommend Nonprofit Home Inspections and, specifically, Russ Motyko to anyone considering a private home inspection. Other services are provided by NHI and we will be utilizing them in the near future.
