Lee has a natural attention to detail and a strong desire to learn new skills. He was introduced to general contracting and an understanding of home systems as a part time job in high school. He further developed those skills over the years and eventually completed a full remodel of his home. From this experience, he discovered several hidden safety hazards and problematic installations of various systems throughout the home. This prompted him to seek the knowledge and certification to become a certified home inspector through Nonprofit Home Inspections’ state licensed Home Inspector Training School. Lee’s biggest goal is to ensure that each home buyer that he works for is well-informed and has a sufficient understanding of the purchase they are making.
Lee is originally from South Carolina and is a graduate of the College of Charleston where he gained two degrees in Psychology and Anthropology. He moved to Oregon after taking part in several internships along the west coast in organic farming and winemaking. He fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and moved out the following year. After many years in the service industry, he decided to begin taking courses and working towards his home inspector certification. Nonprofit Home Inspections’ Inspector training provided the essential supplemental hands-on experience to perfectly accompany and further the knowledge he gained in class.
Lee is proud to work for a company that is mission driven. He loves the idea of working within an organization that is centered in education and equipping people to make well-informed decisions. He also enjoys taking part in the provided continued education as well as the collaborative efforts of the Nonprofit Home Inspections team. Lee is proud to work for a company that provides subsidized rates for services to low-income individuals and families. He believes that home ownership is something that people find pride and a sense of achievement from and is honored to provide a thorough home inspection to those looking to reach that goal.
