Joseph Garcia, CPI®

Joseph Garcia is an Oregon Certified Home Inspector (OCHI # 2372), a licensed Washington home inspector (WAHI # 2563), and a Certified Environmental Specialist (CCB # 204515). In addition to conducting home inspections in Oregon and Washington, Joseph uses his experience as an Environmental Specialist to conduct radon testing and oil tank sweeps using ground penetrating radar. Joseph is also certified to conduct sewer scope inspections. Joseph is a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI19050521) and is certified by the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2-13-0179).

Before joining Nonprofit Home Inspections, Joseph served as building manager for a large nonprofit organization. Joseph has OSHA training and is certified in Hazard Identification and Control, Safety and Health Management Principles & Safety Committees and Meetings. He is also trained in First Aid & CPR from the American Red Cross.

Joseph has always had a strong sense of community. He has worked in nonprofit organizations for over 15 years. He is very passionate about helping others and will always go the extra mile. You can count on him to explain the process thoroughly making it easy to understand. With all the complicated language in this industry, Joseph has a great way of making the information understandable for everyone.

As a home inspector and Environmental Specialist, Joseph has a healthy respect for how everything we do impacts our health and living conditions. By helping to identify significant health hazards such as excessive levels of radon in a home or by finding and testing leaking underground oil tanks, Joseph is doing his part to help our clients make informed housing decisions.
